Negative: nitrate negative replaced by copy negative 1977 of Hulihee Palace (a) and 1957 contact prints(b) and (c) and print (d). Catalog card description: "Houses -- Hawaii -- Kona -- Royalty. Hulihee Palace, Kailua, Kona. N-193 contact prints. One note says Emmert, 1858, another c1855. 'Palace of Kam. III, at Kailua, Hawaii. Really the home of Kuakini, Gov. Adams, later descending to royalty. Built by Adams, c1845 of stone. Painting about 1853, by Paul Emmert. Owned by Arthur Alexander.' Note on 3rd print."
