Quilt : "Rose of Sharon" Applique quilt, 87" square, white background with design in green and red. Vine & leaves with red buds around the edge of the quilt. Large flower in bloom in each corner. Center design is a series of nine wreaths, each wreath has 4 flowers in bloom, 12 buds in red, vine & leaves in green. Two red birds sewn between center wreath and corner wreaths. (One on either side) Flowers, buds and birds are fluffed with stuffing of cotton, gives a raised effect. Quilting of background is done in designs of flowers & leaves. Good condition except for one corner flower with material ripped and stuffing coming out, colors bright, no stains. Fragile; material worn
