Not quilted, but tufted with white yarn. Front side: made up of 7" blocks, alternating white and patterned (patterned blocks made up of 9 patches, 5 colored and 4 white, 5/8" square). Back side: made up of blocks of pink and patterned blocks (patterned blocks, 4 patches in white, blue, brown and black). Several patches on back worn (fabric deteriorating). Handstitched with white thread. Double 9 - Patch - Safford and Bishop p.112.
