Description Hawaiian Flag quilt top: Four flags surround crown and maile (?) central medallion. Blue, red, and white cotton. Flags machine chain stitched. Applique hand sewn with buttonhole stitch around the pukas in the crown. Some brown spots in the white fabric.

Provenance Donor's grandmother, Rachel (Lahela) Kekela Kaiwiaea (aia?) helped make the quilt top. Donor is Rev. James Kekela's great granddaughter.
