Description Quilt, Hawaiian: orange on white. Cotton fabric with design of vases with flowers in each of the four corners, center design is circle with a cross. Quilting in the echo style. Backing is white cotton fabric. Stained at lower side of center cross and in upper left corner. Worn places in the orange fabric noted on center cross and all the corner floral designs. White fabric worn on upper right side and lower area near binding. Some loss of quilting stitches near binding throughout.

Object Name Quilt
Provenance Owned by James Bicknell and used by him prior to his marriage in 1906 when he lived on Kukui Street. He lived at the Mission Houses when he attended Oahu College.
