Description Hawaiian Quilt Top: "Ohelo Berry". Red applique on white. Cotton. There is a seam in the middle of the background fabric, 37" wide yardage. The background fabric edges are basted into a hem. Some of the hem is unravelled. The applique stitch is overcast white thread. There are two seams in the applique fabric. Faded throughout. Thumbtack rust stains on all edges. Foxing and bloodstains overall.

Object Name Quilt
Provenance Bought at Kam Swap Meet for $2-$3 around 1974. Not known who the maker was. Quilt was displayed in donor's home using thumb tacks. Quilt loaned to MHM sometime around 1987, but not accessioned until 1994.
